The Power of Worcester

Between 2024 and 2025, we were delighted to deliver a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and The Elmley Foundation.

Thanks to National Lottery Players, Crave Arts were able to research and bring to life the history of one of Worcester's largest buildings, the Hylton Road Power Station, built in 1902 and fully demolished in 1979.

Here, we tell you all about the project, and provide an overview of the heritage of Worcester's important power history, with links to where you can find out more information.
