Mr G H Williamson
Mayor of Worcester from 1893 to 1894 and Chairman of the Streets Committee for seven years. He was largely responsible for the building of the electricity station at Powick for the street lighting of the city.

Mr Thomas Caink

Thomas Caink was Corporation Deputy Electrical Engineer whilst a lot of the planning and decision making for the City's Power Station was carried out.

Mr Alfred Rowe
​
Mr A V Rowe was the architect for the new power station to be built on Hylton Road, Worcester. In 1901, he submitted plans and sketches of the Generating Station to the Council's Electricity Committee. These were approved and the new power station was erected in 1902.

Mr Cyril Shaw

Mr C M Shaw was Worcester City's Electrical Engineer, 1905 - 1939. He was appointed as a replacement for Thomas Caink who had been suffering from ill health. Shaw was a key driving force behind the generating stations. Not only did he lead them through a number of challenges, he also set up the social club for employees (now the site of Hickory's Smokehouse) and was responsible for the riverside illuminations for Edward's coronation.

Mr R Rudd worked with Heenan and Froude to erect the extended power station in the 1940s.
